Tried the cricket pasta

So I finally tried the Fusilli Cricket Pasta. Heard about cricket protein and figured I'd give it a shot. The website was easy enough to navigate. Ordered it and it showed up a few days later, no drama. Cooked it up and honestly, it just tasted like regular pasta. My friends couldn't tell the difference either. It was a pretty cool way to get some extra protein without even noticing. Felt good about the whole thing.

Decent products, shipping could be faster

I bought the Vanilla Cricket Protein powder and a few Dark Chocolate and Orange Protein Bars. The protein powder mixes well and doesn't have a strong aftertaste, which is a plus for cricket protein. The bars are also pretty good for a quick snack. My order took about 8 days to reach me in California, which felt a bit slow compared to other online stores, though it wasn't a rush. Everything arrived in good condition, no damage to the packaging. Good value for what you get, but faster shipping would make it even better.

Cricket protein review

I ordered the High Protein Snack Bundle and a bag of the Salted Roasted Crickets. The ordering process was pretty straightforward on their website. It shipped out quickly and got to me in about five days, which was good. The protein bars, especially the Banana and Chocolate, were surprisingly tasty. I was a bit hesitant about the roasted crickets, but they were actually a decent snack. Customer support wasn't needed, so can't comment there. Overall, the product quality seems high, and the delivery was efficient. Good experience.

Repeat customer, still satisfied

I've ordered from Sens Foods a few times now, mainly for their protein bars. This time I got the Insect Protein Starter Kit. It was a good way to try out a few different things. The delivery was consistent with my past orders, arriving in about a week. Products were well-packaged, everything intact. I appreciate that their quality has remained reliable. It's why I keep coming back for my cricket protein fix.

do these taste super different from like, normal protein bars? thinking about switching from a whey brand.

M Mark W. 2 months ago
They have a slightly different texture, a bit denser maybe, but the flavor profiles are pretty standard for protein bars. Not a huge leap from whey ones, just a different protein source.

From my experience, the Sens bars feel a little more 'earthy' than some super processed whey bars, but in a good way. Not drastically different, just a unique take.

are the cricket protein bars actually good? like, what do they even taste like, kinda nervous to try.

G Gwen Beaumont 2 months ago
Honestly, they taste mostly like the other ingredients. The dark chocolate cherry one is surprisingly good, you barely notice anything 'cricket-y'.

I was skeptical too! But they're pretty decent. Kinda nutty, but the flavors like peanut butter cinnamon really come through. Not weird at all.

i heard these guys do a student discount, how do you get that?

C Cleo R. 2 months ago
You usually have to verify your student status through something like Student Beans or UniDays. Check their FAQ, it should have a link.

Yeah, most places ask you to go through a verification service online. Should be straightforward on their site if they offer it.

anyone know if their stuff is gluten-free? got some allergies to watch out for.

P Priya 1 month ago
Yeah, a lot of their products are gluten-free. I'd still check the specific product page just to be sure, but many are.

They highlight it on their product pages if it is. Most of the bars and powders I looked at were GF, which is great.
